APRIL 2013
Friday 5th at 6:30 pm:- From the Plains of Golgotha to the Resurrection, Indranil Poddar invites you to spend an evening with Easter Music at the Listeners´ Club. All are welcome.
Saturday 6th at 6:30 pm:- Bager trio - A concert featuring piano, flute & bassoon by European musicians Frederic Bager – Piano, Jonathan Bager – Flute & Jeremy Bager – Bassoon. All are welcome.
Sunday 7th at 6:00pm:- Graduation performance by Rhythmosaic Dance Company. All are welcome.
Friday 12th at 6:30 pm:- Technique - What do great musicians say? Ideas - Fascinating Ideas! Presented by Thiri Posaw for the Musical Theatre.
Friday 19th at 7:00 pm:- Ajoy Ray will present a special feature for the Jazz Listeners´ Forum – "VERSIONS".
Saturday 20th at 7:00pm:- A special Classical Guitar concert by Biplaw Singh. All are welcome..
Friday 26th at 6:30 pm:- "In Search Of Mozart" produced in association with world´s leading orchestras and musicians, and narrated through a 25,000 miles journey along every route Mozart followed. A Bonus Friday presentation by Ashis Ghosh. All are welcome.
Saturday 27th at 6.30pm:- Students Concert Western Music Section. All are welcome.

Friday 1st at 6:30 pm:- At the Listeners Club presentation as part of the Poulenc anniversary in 2013, Indranil Poddar invites you to explore the unique sound world of Francis Poulenc, through his solo, chamber and sacred music. All are welcome.
Saturday 2nd at 6.30pm:- ITC SRA programme by vocalist Aniruddha Bhattacharya. All are welcome.
Friday 8th at 6:30pm:- Piano Trios by Beethoven - Part One, which includes four beautiful pieces played by Isaac Stern (violin), Eugene Istomin (piano), and Leonard Rose (cello). All are welcome to this Bonus Friday presentation by Ashis Ghosh.
Saturday 9th at 7pm:- To promote Ballroom and Latin American Dance at Calcutta School of Music a dancing get together -´Dancers´ Meet´ conducted by Dance Guru Suman Mukherjee. Registrations at the school from 9th January 2012.
Friday 15th at 7pm:- Ajoy Ray showcases JELLY ROLL MORTON, the self-proclaimed ´Inventor of Jazz´, for the Jazz Listeners´ Forum, rescheduled from the November, 2012 programme.
Saturday 16th 6:30 pm:- Students Concert by the students of the Western Music section.
Wednesday 20th at 6:30 pm:- Monthly Guitar Concert by Biplaw Singh. All are welcome.
Friday 22nd at 7pm:- Swiss Pianist Christian Harnisch performs at the Palladian Lounge. Details to follow.
Saturday 23rd at 6:30pm:- 50th Anniversary celebration of ´Phantom of the Opera´ at the Royal Albert Hall. A Musical Theatre presentation by Thiri Posaw.
Wednesday 27th at 6.30pm:- Monthly Guitar Concert by Biplaw Singh. All are welcome.

Friday 1st at 6:30 pm:- A Listeners Club presentation by Indranil Poddar invites you to a Night at the Opera: As part of the 200th birth anniversary of Verdi, a journey through the music of the man who typified Italian opera in the 19th century. All are welcome.
Friday 8th at 6:30pm:- "Fados" - the scintillating vocal music from Portugal. This is a celebration of human expressivity that will allow you to appreciate how emotion becomes art. A "Bonus Friday" presentation by Ashis Ghosh. All are welcome.
Friday 15th at 7pm:- Once again, another mix of exciting artists - known and unknown, past and contemporary, in Part VII of "JAZZ AT RANDOM" - an Ajoy Ray presentation for the Jazz Listeners´ Forum.
Saturday 16th March at 6.30pm:- ITC SRA programme by vocalist Waseem Ahmed Khan. All are welcome.
Friday 22nd at 6:30pm:- GiuseppeVerdi: La Traviata. The Vienna Philharmonic & the Vienna State Opera Choir – Conductor Carlo Rizzi – & featuring the famous diva Anna Netrebko. A Musical Theatre presentation by Thiri Posaw.
Saturday 23rd at 6.30pm:- Monthly Guitar Concert by Biplaw Singh. All are welcome.
Sunday 24th at 6.30pm:- To celebrate the occasion of HOLI, an evening of light classical music by Dalia Rahut and a Kathak performance by Keya Chanda. All are welcome.

In Calcutta School of Music I learn speech and drama taken by Katy Mam. She is a wonderful teacher. First I used to get very poor grades in elocution but because of this class I am getting A grades and stars. I like this class because my speech has become better and I enjoy the class very much.
